Writing Workshop Opportunities

~ WRITING ADVENTURES FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS
Expressive writing adventures during non-school hours help kids relieve stress, decompress, and express themselves with creativity. Vocal, verbal, and visual opportunities to hear and use different forms of language encourage empowerment, socialization, emotional release and growth in skills, ideas and confidence. In a safe, nonjudgmental space, tweens and teens can explore risks and possibilities across a range of media and situations. Guided activities help kids focus, give voice to their uniqueness and have fun!

“…it’s important to pay attention to your writing. So much of what we do involves writing and how you write emails and even Facebook postings says something about you and can be how people first get to know you. Good writing makes a good impression.” — Julie Miller Vick, Senior Associate Director in Career Services, University of Pennsylvania
